   My 15 year old LED PolyStinger is still in great shape but the body mounted switch has been giving me trouble and mine was not the dual switch (DS) version with both an internal body mounted switch and tail cap switch. To the best of my knowledge Streamlight doesn’t sell the body mounted switch separately although I have seen some switches for the PolyStinger that appeared to be non-Streamlight brands and as much of a pain as it is to replace the switch I didn’t want to take a chance on non-OE parts. So…this tail cap switch was a 30 second fix and saved me $$$ having to buy another expensive flashlight. Just unscrew your old tail cap and screw this one on and your done. Even came with a new o-ring. I should note that this only fits the plastic bodied PolyStinger and not the metal bodied Stinger flashlights. Hope this helps save you some time and money!
