   I like the yellow one with double sided clip best, but these are great, also. I have used them often to ward off aggressive dogs and a few drunk jerks. The default setting is High, strobe high, low. You can tap 10x and hold it till it shuts off, to cycle other modes such as high only or low, no strobe, high. Great for work inspections, mechanical inspections in boat and ULGE engines, checking on properties to prevent vagrants, going on ghost tracking and rain soaked hikes back to base. I mounted 1 on a 5 pump, and it’s survived, but it’s not marketed for that and needs a stronger front spring for that or it flashes sometimes with original spring. I recommend demonfire 18650s in rotation, and a spare walking light.

   I wanted a small battery flashlight as a backup to my other rechargeable FL. Good fit in my hand. Bright flashlight. Fits my cap. I can tell additional weight on the cap. Easy to use Butt Switch. Many lights like this have the dimming option built into the switch. I had to read the instructions on how to use the TEN-Tap program function. This program requires timed Click to set the light options. I’m not fond of that. But overall I like this light.

   I am extremely impressed with this torch. The build quality and balance is excellent. The switch although not protected feels top quality. The power of this beam is amazing for the size. I like using the CR123a size battery. They are more resistant to leakage from my experience.

   I looked around and went to a few gun shows shopping for a tactical light to mount on my AR. I wanted to spend under $300.00 for one. My requirements were that it would fit on a 1 inch offset picatinny mount and that it would be reliable not to break under the stress. I also wanted it to look good too. I ordered this light after researching it on forums and reading the reviews on streamlightoutlet.com. The one I got came with a belt clip which I thought would be a concern when mounting on the picatinny rail. It is not! It fit perfectly over the offset flashlight mount without having to remove the belt clip. The light is extremely bright and is easy to turn on and off without having to remove my hand from the grip of the gun; I can do it with just my thumb. Also, the light has 3 different functions; high, strobe and low. Caution! Do NOT stare into this light as it may cause temporary blindness!! The light seems to be holding up well under use and for the price that I paid for this it, I couldn’t be more pleased. It exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it.

   I bought this light for an offset mount on my AR15 after reading all the positive reviews. I was looking for an inexpensive weapon light since it could be used for home defense and lord willing wont see much use other than at the range. The courts like the ability for target identification and since its an option for defense at my house, a light is a requirement imo. I was expecting to be impressed after reading the reviews but impressed is an understatement! The beam is wide and very bright with the center portion being absolutely blinding! The great room in my home has vaulted ceilings and is 40 feet in length and this light easily lit the entire room in total darkness. My 4-D cell maglight (15 years old with fresh batteries) paled in comparison to the brightness and white color of this light. I haven’t tested it outside, so the maglight may prove better at distance, but distance is not what I was looking for. I’m thoroughly satisfied with this light and would recommend it to anyone looking for similar needs (no frills just clean light). I haven’t shot with it yet so I can’t speak to the duty function of this light, but again, I was looking for something crisp and bright and was blown away by it’s performance. I also saw that Streamlight advertised on E.T.U. Elite Tactical Unit on the Outdoor channel so that was nice to show the wife. I posted a picture of my entryway fully illuminated down the sights.

    Let me start by saying I love this light for what it is! It’s too big for an edc light, but not so huge that it can be taken along and tucked away in the car, backpack, nightstand, etc…so it’s a wash. Brightness, yeah it’s bright. Really bright. Not sure why you would need much more out of a light like this, and in close quarters it can be a little too much. Strobe setting works well, and is a nice touch, but I would rather have a setting at half power or something like that, to conserve battery life. And the one negative…battery life/battery style. Obviously to get the 600 lums it takes a good battery (2 actually) and they don’t last all that long…I left it on while I was working on my bathroom for about 40minutes and that was that. $15 for another couple of 123A’s. So a rechargeable option would be great, although that would make the waterproofing a nightmare I’m sure. And the last note, waterproofing/resistance. In spades. I’ve used this in the pouring rain, submerged (accidentally) while working on my washing machine, and have not seen a single issue. All in all a good light, and I’m glad I own it.

    I’ve had this light for a while now and so far no problems. Good dependable light, very simple in function, very tough. It is just slightly bulkier than its aluminum counterpart because of the lens housing. For the price, I would say it’s worth it. Just be sure to keep some spare batteries around. (lighter for scale)
