   i dont know how useful but no one had uploaded pictures so i thought i would. low, med, high torque test channel tested the edc version of this protac 2.0 and it measured 2600 lumens before the normal rapid decline. they also tested the run time and it does last 2.5 hours, obviously not at 2000 lumens. this is only my 2nd headlamp and it is much heavier than my zebralight but the strap is also much more comfortable. i have not wore this for 30+ minutes yet so i cannot comment on if it hurts the neck or anything i would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for high output light and you need some throw. this would be great for a hike or a walk. not so much for a mechanic or electrician etc

   It’s well worth the money!! I bought this head lamp and an extra battery to go with it and it hasn’t let me down yet! Battery last all day! It is alittle heavy at first but I got used to it after the first week of wearing it on my hard hat.

   This might be physically a little bigger if you’re not familiar with the handheld version of this same model (which I also have), but for me it works great. I Needed to replace my surefire Maximus (which is just as bright, however I had three of fail and be replaced due to some LED quality issue they have)…so from what I’ve found if you need a 1000lumen headlamp that is reliable, this is the best option.

   Real good light but it’s a bit heavy and there’s a purple dot almost like a laser in the center of the beam that u see and it’s hard to explain but it makes me feel like there’s something wrong with my eyes they way it looks and I don’t like that at all. Otherwise good light.

   I just bought my second pair so I can throw in my truck and let me tell you, THIS IS AWESOME!!! The brightness is the best I have ever used and I have bought several pairs in the past years.
   Hands down this is the best. The comfort around the head is perfect. Granted just a little heavy and it does get warm after awhile of usage but doable… Battery life last awhile. I bought a spare in case I needed it but haven’t used the spare yet

   If You’re on the fence about buying it, go ahead and purchase, you won’t be sorry
