Fit exactly like the original that was worn out already and easy to install, there is another streamlightoutlet.com seller selling one saying theres fits the stinger led but what they don't tell you that it's for the tailcap, i had bought that one first but luckily i had a tailcap so I just kept it

My original stinger button lasted from 2011 to 2023…..this one was purchased last October and already is worn through.

Perfect compact and lightweight light. Fits perfect in vest and can be used without pointing it at what your looking at if in a dark area. Also brightness is nice and love that it has a magnetic base.

Two of the three screws were stripped upon opening the package. Was going to returned but, watched a video on how to remove stripped screws with a latex glove, it worked! I didn't want to return it because wanted to see it on my glock 27 Gen 4. Had to disassemble and assemble the same two stripped screws using a latex glove over the tool provided with the kit. Wish I can get two new screws. If it wasn't for the 2 stripped screws I would have given the product 5 stars. Very easy to install (if it wasn't for the stripped screws) and fits like a glove on Glock 27 Gen 4. Great add-on for any one who owns a Glock and needs a laser/light combo. Would buy another streamlight product and would recommend to friends. The light performs better than I expected, even inside the house at noon. The red laser is bright and visible outdoors at noon, tried it at the range and was perfectly calibrated out the box. Update: Emailed streamlight costumer service with the problem. I received an email back, informing that they will send a set of replacement mounting screws for my TLR-6. I have since change my review to 5 stars! Very good product and super great costumer care!!! If you are a "mini" glock owner, this is the light/laser combo for you. Great price and product!

So the light does require a tool to mount. Once on, it doesn’t have to be removed to replace batteries. The light produced is enough for the use. It’s not blinding, but it’s more than adequate for target ID. I beg to differ from others that this light is not bright enough; it’s not meant to illuminate 200 meters away or to cause retinal damage as an undocumented feature. It lights up a target, that’s it and that’s enough. The switch is not the most ergo friendly, but it will work. Training is crucial to proper employ.

Very satisfied with the replacement button, highly recommend replacing your button if it’s worn out like mine

No IR illuminator as per description. A lot bigger and fatter then the streamlight hlx

I got this cause my Pelican headlamp isn't rated intrinsically safe. However, the Pelican light has a hard hat mounting base that uses two sided tape, along with the strap mount base, so I can just snap it off my hard hat and use it with a strap in places where the hat isn't required. This lamp seems at first to have the same flexibility, however the included 3M Velcro type tape will send the light flying at the slightest bump, not secure at all, and will ruin your day in an FME environment. So, I'm forced to either stick it to my hat permanently with two sided tape, or use the included rubber strap, which is only non-slip until it touches a drop of oil, so requires also the use of brim clips. When I want to use it without a hard hat, I have to switch to the clothe strap for any kind of comfort. The light itself is top notch quality, good battery life and durable, but for flexible mounting options it falls short.

I purchased the light used under the assumption something was wrong with it. When I received the light it was in its original packaging but cut open and destroyed. I was surprised as the light was cosmetically flawless but the light would not turn on however it would charge with the battery it came with. After the charging the battery for a whole day it still would not turn on, I had some cr123 batteries on hand and the light appeared to work fine. I did order myself a brand new battery and works fine with it. When I do charge the new battery through the charging port, it continuously says that it’s charging and doesn’t stop with a green like it’s suppose to. I assume this light was purchased and returned as a dud which is why it discounted half off. I am disappointed with the purchase because I could have bought a brand new one with the money spent on the light and battery combined. I’m not even sure the new battery will charge properly once it’s fully drained.

It's an OEM part so no complaints about quality. The gripsleeve on my extremely old Polystinger disintegrated over time with exposure to extreme temperature conditions. I easily peeled it off prior to applying this new one. My experience installing it was as follows. Do not disassemble flashlight if your installing on Polystinger as per their included instructions. First clean the body to get the dirt and grit off. Then lube the sleeve real good with soapy water to keep it slippery on the inside. Also put a light coat on the flashlight body as well. I made the mistake of warming up the sleeve to much which made it more difficult to insert because it was too soft. It needs to remain slightly ridgid to insert the streamlight shaft inside. Leaving the flashlight endcap on and holding sleeve by its end, start turning the sleeve clockwise until you can get it to completely grab on the endcap. Lube base and inside sleeve again if it goes dry. Then use a towel to grip around sleeve and begin turning it in clockwise until it is seated at top groove. You can leave the excess length of sleeve on at the end as I chose {pictured} or easily trim to fit with a knife or razor. Dry it off and the Stinger is ready to pierce the darkness once again.

Although the listing says this works for Streamlight Stinger DS, it does not. Based on the listing and the many positive reviews I purchased it but was disappointed. In the attached photo you see the old (button) tail cap on top, and the new one on the bottom. You can clearly see the width for the threads are distinctly different and thus does not work.

Great for preppers or survivalists. Low output and red filter ,which Is very suitable for long term survival . I have been wanting one for quite a long time although I would of bought the bigger sidewinder or compact version . But it's no biggy as I love my streamlights . Also to the lads who complain about no instructions on each side of the light has aplus sign indicating which way the batteries go. And also on the front of emitter there are also some instruction albeit hard to read thumbs up from ireland

I’m not sure about this flashlight yet. This is my second one in the last week. It says to FULLY charge before using. As with the first one, I’ve been charging the light for a full 3 days and the indicator light is still red. It’s supposed to change to green when fully charged. I’ve tried several different chargers, and I’ve tried talking to Streamlight tech about it. The last conversation he said I must use their Streamlight brand charger, which doesn’t make sense. The ones I am using have the same output rate as their brand. The guy on the phone said to hold a min while he gathered more info. While I was on hold it turned 5:00 eastern time. I was disconnected. When I called back, it just went to voicemail. I expected a lot more from a company like Streamlight, and a $120 flashlight. I also have the Protac HL 5-X and the TLR-2 HL G. I hope I haven’t made a mistake. Their description of the HPL says it will charge on ANY charger, even on your computer. It just warms the most computers have a low output for charging.

Needed a light for small spaces in engine compartment. The button can be intermittently. Also, for constant light, turn the button end until light comes on. The light is bright enough for my application. Best feature is the flexible neck. Would recommend to family and friends. Fast Prime shipping. Thanks streamlightoutlet.com!

Solid and rigid construction of the light and body. Very durable for any condition, the white light is very bright including the red light.
