I bought this light for an offset mount on my AR15 after reading all the positive reviews. I was looking for an inexpensive weapon light since it could be used for home defense and lord willing wont see much use other than at the range. The courts like the ability for target identification and since its an option for defense at my house, a light is a requirement imo. I was expecting to be impressed after reading the reviews but impressed is an understatement! The beam is wide and very bright with the center portion being absolutely blinding! The great room in my home has vaulted ceilings and is 40 feet in length and this light easily lit the entire room in total darkness. My 4-D cell maglight (15 years old with fresh batteries) paled in comparison to the brightness and white color of this light. I haven't tested it outside, so the maglight may prove better at distance, but distance is not what I was looking for. I'm thoroughly satisfied with this light and would recommend it to anyone looking for similar needs (no frills just clean light). I haven't shot with it yet so I can't speak to the duty function of this light, but again, I was looking for something crisp and bright and was blown away by it's performance. I also saw that Streamlight advertised on E.T.U. Elite Tactical Unit on the Outdoor channel so that was nice to show the wife. I posted a picture of my entryway fully illuminated down the sights.

Having served in the US Army for 20 years, and being from the country, I’m well acquainted with weapons. I serve on the security team at my church and train often with others. Several of us who are designed to “draw and shoot” in a threat situation inside thought that using a Laser would not only aid in our accuracy but is also a deterrent. I recently had surgery on my shooting hand and using the Laser was a big help. Definitely recommending this to my team members.

I'm actually very happy with the Wedge XT, the finish is very classy, the size is ideal for the hand, the two light levels also fit, you can always find the tail switch blindly. However, I have bad luck with removing the clip. The scope of delivery includes a 0.050" hex wrench and I was not able to loosen the 2 screws with it, they are so tight that the tool spun and made the screw heads round. The second tool supplied with my Wedge (V1) didn't help either, and I couldn't get the screws loose with any of the other tools I have. I think that's a shame, because I bought the Wedge XT because of its flat shape and don't need the clip, which makes the lamp a lot bigger.

By far the best EDC type light I’ve ever used. I’ve beat the crap out of mine for well over a year now every single day and can honestly say it’s worth the $75 every day of the week. Using the CR123 Or the AA battery it’s plenty bright, notably brighter with the 123 but the AA seems to last longer. I have used the rechargeable batteries and the technology just isn’t there yet. Doesn’t get too hot at all and it always turns on. Only complaint is the metal clip on mine broke, but that’s because it got snagged on a door jam in my pocket.

Having owned this light for 8 years, I can definitively say that this is a fantastic light, worth every penny. I bought the AAA battery version of this light, which I use every day at work. It's bright enough for what I need, particularly when the battery literally last for years. The on/off switch has a nice, solid click too. This is a GREAT flashlight, especially for it's size.

This is the second one of these that the battery has corroded into the flashlight to the point where you cannot get the battery out. This is the third stream light flashlight that is also done this. I feel they have gone well downhill the last several years. I use top-of-the-line batteries and I am doing nothing usual with the flashlight. Just thought I would warn people out there. This is only the second set of batteries to go into this flashlight.

I would not even leave 1 star, but I had to in order to leave a review. Did not receive the charger that was advertised. The charger i did receive would not even charge my flashlight.

Faulty quality. The battery cap broke off after shooting the gun a couple of times. It was cool while it lasted I guess.

Very happy with this light and its multiple functions. Looks cool, which is half the fight but actually works great. It’s a little pricey, but good gear ain’t cheap and cheap gear ain’t good. Marine approved.

If you already have a TLR-6, this is not worth the upgrade. The increased candela might make it go further, but I don't notice a difference in lumens or candela. I took a side-by-side photo. If you can tell the difference, then good for you, because I can't. It has twice as much candela and three times as many lumens, but I don't see a difference. Upgrade aside, it's a good light. It's plenty bright enough for home defense or similar situations. It comes with three batteries, so you can run one and charge the other two in their case with the included USB-A to USB-C charging cable. Because it has the same dimensions, it will fit in any TLR-6 holster. The green laser is bright, but I swear it's not holding zero. Either that or my RDS isn't holding zero... Overall, it's nice but not significantly better than its predecessor.

I've owned/used many WML's over the years (Streamlight, Surefire, Insight, Inforce, Olight, etc) and Streamlights have always provided the best value in a decently performing/rugged WML (I've yet to experience a Streamlight failure). With its 1,000 lumens & 50,000 candela, the HLX-Pro is approaching the limits of what can be accomplished with standard CR123's (w/the option of using 18650's for extended runtime). The attached photos compare the HL-X Pro w/the 800 lumen/66,000 candela Olight PL Turbo, notice the color difference between the two w/the Olight having a greenish tint. At the range, hotspot is centered on the 100yd target, the 50yd target is slightly to the right and the 200yd target visible in the distance. The HL-X Pro provides nearly as much throw but with more usable spill for situational awareness. Of course, we all want candela & throw, but we need situational awareness, and the HL-X Pro gives a good balance of spill & throw with enough candela for causing disorientation & overcoming photonic barriers. Typical Streamlight rugged mounting, including an M-Lok mount and the ability to substitute your favorite Scout mount as well (the Arisaka offset Scout mount is excellent). The Jack Cap allows for either manual switching or use of a remote switch. However, using a remote switch degrades the IPX rating from 7 to 4 if that's important to you. Also, the manual switch and remote switch port can be rotated within the Jack Cap should you want them in a different location. The ability to use rechargeable 18650's is a big plus, increasing runtime by 40+% over standard CR123's. Yes, there are smaller & lighter WML's, but they don't provide equal lumens/candela. There are also similar/larger sized WML's that provide more lumens/candela, but they're much more expensive and usually can't use standard CR123's. For its performance, it's hard to beat the HL-X Pro for the price. 5 stars from me! ETA: Despite what was posted in an earlier review, you can buy both the momentary-on and momentary/constant-on remote switches for the HL-X Pro separately. I know because I've purchased both for the HL-X Pro right here on streamlightoutlet.com.

This light is small enough to keep in your pocket and really packs a punch. I like that the button is either on or off without a bunch of extra flashes and such. You pull out the collar around the lens to access the charge port and you can also just replaceable battery which is a big plus. Great light overall.

Hi. I purchased this Streamlight 75927 black nylon flash light holder for my wife at the end of May 2017 who is in law enforcement. She has had it for less then 6 months and the back strap broke, causing her to almost loose her flash light as well. I was wondering if there is a warranty on this product seeing it didn't last very long? We were initially happy with the product until it broke. Thank you for your time.

Poor quality control. And product looks heavily used. Inside it looks as if there’s battery acid from past batteries being in there. The outside is also heavily warn.
