  • Tough, bright and affordable. I've owned this light for about a year and have been using it at work everyday for about 6 months with no issues. I work maintenance at a factory with concrete floors and I've dropped this light several times and it's still running strong. Pair this light with Streamlight's rechargable 18650's and you've got a super tough, bright, affordable, rechargable light that won't let you down. I'll update this review when/if I'm able to kill this thing at work

Yes I know the item is used. But very good condition is far cry from the description. The light itself does show wear, But it’s not the blue one. That listed in the picture and description. And he sent it with meeting a brand new lens because the front lens is cracked, dead center. I’m sorry but I don’t understand how you call dad very good condition. This item is going back

I ordered 4 of these for work, and they do not disappoint. While it has not been field-tested, the lights are of solid quality. We look forward to using these for many years to come. Special mention goes out to streamlightoutlet.com returns process as I initially ordered the wrong model. I was able to return without incident due to the clear and hassle-free instructions.

  • I work in a hospital. I am a department where the light is always dimmed. This is a great penlight because it's not only light but its bright enough for my job. I would like to give it a five but I had issue with the length and It has a tint of blue. I order a white thinking that Its going to be bright white but the light has a blue tint. I thought the 6 1/4 in. length will fit OK with my uniform, unfortunately it did not plus if you add the glare guard that came with its going to be longer. It is not a big deal, it still fits in my pocket, it just sticks out a little. Over all I still recommend this product. It is a great pen light. Just be aware of the length and the pocket of your uniform.

  • Luckily, I had another battery for this light. The battery that came with it is DOA. The pictures show unusual color patterns on the battery's wrap. The negative end shows an unknown substance. When plugged in to charge, it immediately shows green. The battery voltage shows zero volts. Again, love the light. I did order a two-pack of replacement batteries for this light. Both of those in the other order are fine.

  • The light itself is awesome. It was advertised to come with a rubber strap and a blackjack mount. It arrived in a factory sealed blister pack and it had the rubber strap, lanyard, keyring, and a streamlight mount. This was disappointing as that wasn't what was advertised. The streamlight mount has a huge knob that seems to get in my way as I move my goggles and chin strap around. The rubber strap worked well for me, so I call it a win and I'll trade/gift the mount to somebody that will use it..... The knob on the streamlight is about the size of a nickel

  • I bought this for my everyday carry that goes in my Fatty Maxpedition which is shown below this light is green Led did ....works really great couldn't be happier.....I would say a great buy ...what's in your everyday carry

I’ve looked around the internet for a while and could not find a lens that expressly states that it’s for the Streamlight 78101. This is the one! It fits perfectly. It feels well made. Good quality product.

Works great with the used Streamlight Stinger I came across for a coupla bucks. Nice that it can be used with OEM AC adapter or a micro-USB power supply (latter charges more slowly, however). Picked up some aftermarket Ni-Cads and I'm good to go! Keep the contacts on the flashlight clean and you're all set.

streamlightoutlet.com recommended this Streamlight 1 inch Holster for the Streamlight ProTac HL 5-X that I purchased. As one can see in the photos above the 1 inch Holster is too small and was not designed for the ProTac HL 5-X. The ProTac HL 5-X has a rubberised outer shell over 80% of the body handle causing an even greater restriction to using it with this holster. However, despite that, the holster itself is extremely sturdy and as one can see in my photos, it can be used with smaller flashlights such as the Anker Bolder rechargeable, zoomable light that fits excellently in the holster. The holster does not stretch as it is made from very hard super durable waterproof plastic. It has a curved retention spring-like device inside the housing to insure that flashlight stays snug. The outer belt clip will fit a 2.25 inch duty belt but does work well even on smaller belt widths. I was going to return it but since it does fit a number of the more compact rechargeable flashlights that I have, I decided to keep it. It's extreme durability a primary factor in that decision.

This is just what I was hoping for. I have a StreamLight ProTac HL that I have used for years. But now I need it for blackout, light discipline areas. This red filter is perfect. It doesn't fit exactly but with a thin strip of F4 tape it is super snug and will not slip off. The spring hinge holds the cap firmly open when I need it so it isn't floppy. Form, fit, function.

  • I'm not one to write many reviews but I felt compelled to write one here. I picked up a S&W M&P Shield .40 cal a few weeks ago. I saw this TLR-6 combo on streamlightoutlet.com and thought what the heck...it's not nearly as expensive as some other combos I've seen and it had good reviews, so I ordered it. It arrived the next day and took less than 5 minutes to install. Fit and finish are very high quality. I can't imagine that it could be any better. The unit is advertised as being 100 lumens. I believe it is much brighter than that. Illumination with the light is a bright white (not yellow-ish at all) and is MORE than sufficient to illuminate anything you would want to see at a distance of (I would estimate) 40 to 50 yards away. The laser strength is good as well and I can easily spot it at distances over 100 yards away. I have absolutely NO REGRETS with buying this combo. Neither will you!

Great deal and I really like the Blue color. The NiMH Batteries make it all the better than previous models. This does get HOT! haha I own around eight Streamlight Stinger LED Flashlights and none of them get as hot as this one!

  • I chose this flashlight for a personal watercraft safety kit. My primary requirements for the flashlight were as follows: 1. Must be waterproof. 2. Must be compact enough to fit in the safety kit. 3. Must FLOAT. This flashlight will only float when equipped with AAA lithium primary cells installed in AAA to AA battery adaptors readily available on streamlightoutlet.com. Please note that some of these adaptors have metal contacts in both ends and may add too much weight. Use only the adaptors with the single metal contact on the positive end. When equipped as stated above, the flashlight will float. Any other battery combination used will cause the flashlight to sink. When equipped this way, the flashlight will burn for about 12 continuous hours at approximately 90 percent of its initial output, and about another 4 hours of usable light after that. The flashlight now meets my requirements.

  • I have a Springfield XD 40 Service and I love this light! This light is blinding day or night. Seriously, YOU CAN NOT LOOK AT IT! Just a glimpse and you're seeing spots for minutes after. It is ruggedly built, bright as all, and asthetically pleasing to the eye (when it's turned off that is). It is a little wider than my weapon, but this is not a problem for me since the person breaking in won't see it. It comes with two 3-volt CR123A lithium batteries which are easier to change out than the TLR-1 (the previous model) and are supposed to have a 10-year storage life. They are not cheap to replace, but from the reviews I have read on streamlightoutlet.com you are better off finding them local (like at Radio Shack) and paying a couple bucks extra to guarentee full charge. At 4.18 ounces this light adds a little to the end of the weapon, but is hardly noticable (at least to me). After reading the reviews for this model and it's predecessor (the TLR-1),.. out of 119 reviews NOT ONE WAS BELOW A FOUR STAR RATING. Comparing that to other "cheaper" and "lighter" lights, my decision was easily made. When it comes to the protection of my family, I would rather pay a little extra for something 'once' and know it will be reliable. The strobe feature is nice as well, but may not be practical for most. With a quick "double tap" of the switch YOU CAN LOCK THE STROBE ON, but like any other tool you should practice with it to retain "muscle memory". Really though, unless you are storming a building full of insurgents, I think you should be ok with just the steady beam. If you have medium to large hands (like me), you can toggle the switch with either the thumb from your supporting hand, or the index "trigger finger". The rocker switch makes it easy to use and is much less likely to come on accidentally (like the cheaper lights) and drain your batteries. All in all, I believe the TLR-1s is THE best light for the money. Hope this helps :)
