I needed a lightweight light for my hard hat. This is light weight but the light output isn’t the best, but it’s good enough to let you see what you are doing in the dark. Can’t tell you the battery life of it as I’ve only had it work a week and occasionally use it. I alway charge it via usb cable when I’m done with work. It’s a lightweight light that gives you adequate light in the dark.

I love it great buy very bright!

I keep looking for a replacement flashlight for the one I have where the company went out of business. Wanted more of a solid beam than the “bullseye” cast of light as I use it for structural inspections and need to light up things for photos.

I received my first one and quickly installed on my Glock 27. I installed the batteries and the batteries seemed loose. I tried to turn on and no go. I checked to make sure it was installed and the 3 screws were properly tightened. All looked good. As I was opening the battery door the light would turn on. Tried to close it and it turned off. I called Streamlight and asked if this could be addressed by me. I was told to send it in. Instead contacted streamlightoutlet.com and was promptly sent a new one and a return label for the old one. I have multiple Streamlight lights and gun laser/light combos. Never had one come from the box defective! The only time I have ever had a problem was I beat on it. After reading the reviews it looks like you get a 50/50 shot on getting a good one. Streamlight dropped the ball on Q/C on this one! After the second one was installed it holds zero perfect, no adjustments to re-zero. Looks great on the gun, like Glock designed it. Would’ve gave 5 stars if the first one worked. Update 5/5/18: have sent hundreds of rounds down range. Zero issues with the replacement. I use mine with a owb Priority 1 holster with a clip draw also attached to the rear plate. If it gets slightly exposed with a shirt lifting up it looks like a cell phone. My new fave gun to carry.

Pic for product shows the battery cap/activation button which is not included. It’s only the clip.

I like the flashlight, however this is not the flashlight that was advertised, this is a light on the end rather than a strip on the side which I believe is the old version of the stylus pro. I’m going to keep this one, but it’s not the one I ordered.

I’ve had many many lights over my 23 years of patrol. This is a great light. NOBODY makes this type of ergonomic design. Hard to explain, but it’s like holding a pen. It’s amazing in your hand and you’ll wish you bought it sooner. A lot is covered about the light in other reviews. As you can see in pic, I added some rubberized grip tape to the area where the light naturally held with your hand. The ergonomics are awesome. Just add some rubberized tape to the ergo area and it’s perfect. Not much info in reviews about compatible holsters. If you’re looking for a high quality holster for molle for this great light, the one from zero9 holsters is the winner. Check them out. Took a few to find the right combo, but zero9 wins. They also have a belt version. Pics attached. Update after being used on patrol as primary light for over a month on graves. It’s running solid. Even after numerous drops. The light is built solid. Very happy with this design. I’ve been asked about it from others I work with. Now several are running them. Great job Streamlight. Another update another month later. This light is pretty tough. We’ve all had various items roll off our lap and onto concrete when getting out. Maybe just me haha. It’s definitely cop proof for this cop because I drop crap all the time. It’s also one of the few Streamlights still made here in the USA. A majority of the Pro Tac series are made in China. I learned this as my son started his career. He ordered a ProTac light for his duty rifle. “Made in China”. Disappointed in Streamlight. But, they still make a ton of lights here at home… All Stingers, TLR weapon series, SL series, intrinsic/fire lights and some specialty application lights are still made here at home. Light lasts my 1800-0600 shifts no problem with heavy use. There’s a subdued battery status light under the front button that lets you know green, yellow or red. Regarding charging. These WILL recharge in all previous Stinger charging cradles (12v or 110v cords. The Stinger 2020 cradle that is also for 110v has what Streamlight calls a “propriety” port/cable. Ehhhh, nope. It’s micro usb. They have a little nub on their branded micro usb cable that “locks” in place. Not really. Don’t think you need to buy a bunch of new cradles and cables. ANY micro usb will work with the Stinger 2020 cradles. And for all those guys out there with older charging cables and cradles that use the rectangular two prong connector for 12v and 110v, those work fine with the new cradle as well. So, in my humble opinion, if you have an old Stinger cradle and charging cable at home, get the a less expensive version and use your current chargers. I’m the type of person that opens crap up and looks inside. I had an old Stinger cradle. I ordered a stinger 2020 with the cradle (and micro usb). Once you remove the two Phillips screws on both of them, the boards are almost 100% identical. The only difference I could find was the integration of a micro USB port on the stinger 2020 version. Otherwise, the board is absolutely identical. And that’s when comparing it to a cradle from 10 years ago. With the right holster, you will be happy with this light. That’s coming from a picky salty sgt ha. I added a video of real world 0300 ish hours use in semi rural area that hopefully helps you guys out. This is not a thrower. This is absolutely ideal for patrol. Another update 6/20/23. Still super impressed with this light. I work Graves 12 hr shifts. This is my primary light throughout the shift, and a good majority of the area I work in is rural and dark. Even after a night of way above average use, I still have plenty of power on the medium setting. I charge the light after each shift since you just don’t know what the next nights demands will bring. If you have a light that you are always worrying about going dead 3/4 through your shift, that’s not happening with the sucker. Can always top off in the car, but I haven’t had to do it yet after several months of truly hard use. Another nice thing is the factory side grips (and rectangular shape on the rear end) make holding the light under your arm pit really easy. No slipping at all. I don’t normally write this many updates, but I have not found a fault with this light yet. This is coming from a guy who has very high expectations for lighting. It’s a winner! Hope this helps. Stay safe out there guys.

I hike and backpack and have used this little flashlight on multiple occasions over the years. I use it as a general-purpose utility flashlight around the camp as well as - thanks to its hat clip - a headlamp when hiking in the dark. It is small, simple to operate, reliable, and most importantly, helps make my backpack lighter by being capable of playing multiple roles. I got my first MicroStream in 2013, and I definitely prefer that generation of this flashlight. You can recognize those by the imprinted serial number under the model name. Streamlight stopped doing that at some point. In my opinion, the color of the LED was better - somewhat on a cooler side, but without such a pronounced green hue. I also prefer the wider beam spread of the previous generation with a smoother light falloff. I am attaching a photo to illustrate my points. Having said that, I do believe that it is still a great flashlight and worth the asking price!

I use this 5 days a week in the mill I work at. Battery life is not as long as stated but it is nice to be able to swap out the rechargeable battery pack for 3AAA. The flood feature is what I love best about this light. Easy on and off switch for wearing gloves. Buy this one you will not regret it, I own several head lamps. This one is my favorite by far.

As others have stated the battery cover clips failed, and the up/down adjustment clicker failed within a few weeks after purchase. ALSO the little foam pad that sits against your forehead came off. Too bad really, because it puts out the perfect amount of light, is frugal with batteries, and has a simple/effective control button with audible positions. Just need a more durable case, or perhaps a one piece case without adjustments. A battery compartment like toys have, with the screw that won't come out would be perfect. Still use this light, just had to get inventive with its adjustment and battery cover.

I have bought this light twice from this store. The first one arrived broke. I checked the battery and it was fine. The light was defective. The second one I bought, arrived and it wasn't even the light I ordered! It was someone's used trash green light in a streamlight box and sent back. This is nearly a $200 light, you should ensure your product works and isn't trash. I'm getting a SUREFIRE. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!

Initial order and receipt was sketchy, generic packaging, previously opened and rummaged then apparently returned repackaged and resold to my. Created a return ticket, did so, got refunded and reordered as recommended by CS. So upon receipt of the 2nd order I find the same generic packaging and happily inside an actual factual legit VIR 2 weapon light. Upon setting up and testing its pretty much everything I wanted and needed. Night vision compatible IR illuminator with reasonable capability and function and an integrated IR laser that runs simultaneously as the illuminator, the only real downside is that's default and not optional. But it works as advertised and more than sufficient for my use/needs and likely yours to. This is a very affordable option to a PEQ module or comparable device with again more then adequate performance for most applications.

The package comes with no instruction of which key for which pistol type. I had to search in your posts on streamlightoutlet.com product page to find out. And I used the C key for glock, it works, but the teeth is barely catching the gun when using with TLR-3. I shot few magazines, it is still attached and working, but it will be good if teeth can be taller.

I read the one star reviews on products I purchase on streamlightoutlet.com to get a good idea what people think about that particular item.well this time the one star reviews where right sadly .I really wanted to like this flash light ,but as one reviewer said they received a used flash light so did i.not only that the battery pack fell apart when I opened it to install batteries 5 little parts just fell out and the battery terminals had battery acid corrosion on it.the black lettering was rubber off like it was a demo piece. the cardboard was all bent over like it was removed and replaced several times .I think the flash light was well made felt rugged and a bit heavy but I would stay away from this particular seller.

it’s a nice flashlight but the only thing i didn’t understand that how do i know when the charge will be full cuz i plugged it in the charger and it only shows red light . can someone help me please
