Due to its compactness and the SINGLE SET of mounting bolts (which are offset from the centerline of the Picatinny rail), you are easily able to rotate the mount so as to tuck your light, etc. close to the barrel -- rather than having the doggone thing sticking out 90 degrees to the side or underneath like a sore thumb. Other shotgun pic rails using 2 sets of mounting bolts have limited movement due to binding against the barrel. I mounted a 600+ lumen Streamlight Strion using an offset QD mount, and the light sits nicely right alongside the barrel with the light's tube extending over the forearm. Perfect position for off-hand thumb activation. It also tucks a TLR-1 nice & close also... Because it has a single set of mounting bolts and is made of polymer, you will likely have to pry it open quite a bit to jockey it into position on the tube... but once it's there, brother -- it ain't going nowhere. I've used this mount on 2 shotguns after having tried several other tube mounts. This one is, by far, the very best for my application(s).

Got my replacement bulb today but when I open the package there was no bulb. This Bulb cost me over $12 bucks. The only thing I got was an empty package. As you can see in the photo it’s covered in clear plastic, I figured the bulb was behind the directions but that was not be so. Do you think whoever pulled this for processing could’ve looked through the plastic and seen there’s no bulb there.

This review is for Streamlight 44943 Siege 200 Lumen Ultra-Compact Work Lantern (Yellow, 3xAA Battery): Update Feb 2021 - I am correcting my previous review as I made an error. It appears someone in my family stuck quite a few drained AA batteries back into the 'new' battery dispenser/holder that I have mounted on the wall. My initial review stating this light had failed after minimal use was therefore inaccurate. The light had, in fact, not failed at all. The batteries, OTOH, had failed completely (2 sets worth that I rotated through trying to confirm the device had failed). I should have tested the batteries with the voltmeter as the final step before I wrote my prior entry. It has the right amount of light for its intended use (illuminating small areas), decent battery life ~37is hours on low (50 lumens), and higher settings up to 200 lumen does a great job illuminating an entire room (at the cost of battery life). Would recommend for use when camping or as a illumination back up during a power outage. The light has several built in mounting points to include three strong magnets along with a gated clip built into the base, as well as swing up handle that doubles as a hanging bar on top. I'll also add it feels sturdy and yet very lightweight. I do wish the diffuser could collapse down to save on space, but it is worth noting that the diffuser is a thick, durable plastic and works very well. Light specifications per Streamlight's website (keep in mind there are a few different versions of the Siege lamp - this one is the AA 200 lumen model): White LED (one C4® LED) with cover removed: - High for brightest light: 200 lumens; runs 7 hours - Medium for bright light and longer run time: 100 lumens; runs 15.5 hours - Low provides extended run times for when less light is needed: 50 lumens; runs 37 hours Red LED (two red LEDs) -Red LED High (night vision preserving mode): 0.7 lumens; runs 192 hours (8 days) -Flash SOS mode for emergency signaling: 0.7 lumens; runs 288 hours (12 days) I have not tested the above run times with a watch, but did use the lamp during Texas Snowmagedon when we went several days without power - I'd agree their estimates appear to be accurate. Pics were shot at 100 ISO so the outdoor pics are a little blurry as I was trying to keep the light/darkness balance accurate to the environment that night: Daylight/Indoors: Magnetically mounted on narrow metal floor lamp post, Hanging upside down from bottom clip (top carry handle also extended), pics showing the 'diffuser top' removed with both the Red and White LEDs Night/Outdoors - Magnetically mounted on a fence metal pole using Red LED, and White LED on High and Low settings (no medium setting pics), ====================================== Old, Inaccurate Review (I initially left 2 star rating) Initially we loved this light. Right amount of light for its intended use (illuminating very small areas), decent battery life ~37 low (50 lumens). Initially purchased for a camping trip that never happened, it found a role as a back up light for power outages. Last used during Texas Freezemagedon (after which the batteries were again removed and the light stored in the closet for next time). Unfortunately, I went to use it last week when I needed to illuminate the area while I did a repair on a bedroom ceiling light and found it no longer worked. Will be reaching out to their Warranty Department for their Limited Lifetime Warranty and will update my rating pending that interaction.

Unlike the Protac models, which have voltage regulation so the brightness remains close to the advertised level for some length of time, Streamlight has decided the Junior series should be the sort of flashlight which immediately and quickly starts losing its brightness from the second it turns on, and drops to half within the first 15 minutes. After 90 minutes it's down to about a third of the advertised lumen rating and still dropping. Its average output over the 6 hour running time is more like 60 lumens. The color rendering isn't terrible, but not great. This sort of thing is OK for cheap backup or occasional use flashlights as long as you know it will spend most of its life at lower output. I have 2 of the Propolymer 2aa model which are also unregulated but fine for random illumination under sofas or in closets. But the Junior model is nearly double the price of those, and is advertised as a whopping 225 lumens. And even though it has Streamlight printed on it, it's 100% made in China. You can get a lot of good Chinese flashlights for the same price with constant light output and better LEDs. Streamlight has chosen to make this model their worst deal. It wasn't always like this. Earlier Jr LED models were made better. But for the last 1 or 2 versions, Streamlight cut some corners to save a few cents.

I bought this mainly to help illuminate my work, but I found the magnets are very weak and do not hold the flashlight well. The bottom magnet only works as a top down light, not a perpendicular light. Decent light, but poor planning with the magnets. Dropped it today, missed my side pocket on my overalls. It fell less than 3 feet and the clip shattered off. No replacing it. Upset that the clip and magnets are now gone because of that flaw...

I ALWAYS carry a flashlight. I usually carry an O-Light S1R Baton II. One is always in my pocket. As great as the O-Light is for general day-to-day tasks like finding keys under the seat, or illuminating the ground in front of me to make sure I am not stepping on a snake, it is still a small flashlight. It’s best for those routine tasks that you often need something more powerful than the light on your phone.. When you need a more powerful flashlight, this streamlight is the one to get. As you can see from the photo, mine is well used. This light is always by my back door. I live in the country and it’s prudent here to see what may be in the front yard before I let my dog out in the evenings. During hunting season it always goes with me. Like I said, it gets quite a bit of use. Last year my son broke down and called me. I went there to wait for the tow truck and used the strobe function to alert vehicles (on Interstate 95) that we were on the shoulder. It ran for over an hour and vehicles could see it far enough away that they changed lanes and avoided us. I have also used the strobe when tracking a wounded deer. I turned the strobe on and was able to walk back to where I set it down. It made finding the blood trail easy. This is NOT a pocket flashlight for most people. It’s 6.5” long. This would be ideal for a tradesman or outdoorsman who needed a good dependable flashlight with excellent functionality. I have had this light for 5 years and I am just now having to replace the rechargeable battery. You will NOT be disappointed if you purchase this one.

Barely fits on my olight i1R2 pro. Great little upgrade!

I was in the market for a simple and reliable general purpose flashlight. One with a straightforward on and off switch (not one with a half dozen modes), and one that is tough and water proof. This light more than fits the bill. It’s really two flashlights in one. The spot beam allows for momentary on, with a light press of the switch, or constant on, with a firm click of the switch. The flood beam is click on only, and is perfect for working up close, when you want wide and even coverage. With the reputation of Streamlight, toughness and reliability is a given. The flashlight is mostly sleek, and as advertised, the clip doesn’t snag. I say “mostly” sleek, because the eyelet/lug at the lens cap (which is designed as part of the locking mechanism for a different model) could potentially snag. I wish they would have eliminated it on this model since it serves no purpose. The flashlight is comfortable to hold, easy to operate (no multi modes), light weight, and at 7 inches long it’s small enough to easily fit in a glovebox, drawer, or coat pocket. The spot beam is sufficient for most general purpose uses. I was under the house the other day and the spot beam provided practical useable light out to about 25 feet (probably a bit beyond, but that’s the length of the space I was working in), the flood beam offer significantly less useful distance (maybe 8 ft). I was so impressed with the first flashlight, that I ordered five more. I've replaced all the flashlights in my house and vehicles. I then ordered two additional flashlights to give as gifts. And, will likely order more for gifts in the future. There are cheaper flashlights on the market, but I’m a firm believer in, "You get what you pay for." When the time comes that I need a flashlight, I want to know I have a flashlight that will work. And, with Energizer AA Lithium Batteries (which I purchased separately on streamlightoutlet.com), this flashlight is going to be ready and reliable even if it sits idle for 19 years (the lithium batteries boast a 20 year shelf life). Update Aug 2022: I'm still very happy with these lights! Combined with the lithiums I've not had to replace any of the batteries. I use them every so often, as one might expect. I've referred these lights to several friends who have then purchased one or two. Hey, Streamlight - do you need an ambassador? I'll be happy to entertain an offer.

Finishing touch on an APS. Easy install. Ambi controls. BRIGHT. Thorough wringer test w/ no issues. Simply awesome light at a realistic price point. Did I mention BRIGHT. Host is an 870 Express Tactical. Knoxx top folder w/ dampening. Brown Coat Tactical saddle. Streamlight Racker 850 lumen forend light. HFD2 Hard Use breacher.

This one was installed on an HK P2000 and the results I'm generally pleased. This is a low profile compact that doesn't stick way out like the TLR-1 does if placed on this pistol. Having the light extend beyond 3/4" is a bit much so this model fits appropriately and extends 1/2" from the muzzle. For HD uses which this pistol is set-up for the output is appropriate in my situation. At 25' indoors the hot spot is about 4' and corona approximately 9'+ diameter. The keys in application for the HK don't sit fully within the notch, about 1/4 way in but it does maintain position so that I've not noticed obvious movement when snugged down. If you desire to regularly swap between other pistols and change keys, the C-ring on the mount screw can be a bother to remove-replace. Not like the TLR-1 series that is pretty simple by using the hex screw. I snug this finger tight and during practice sessions it has not backed out. The 125 lumen seems low compared to some offerings though quite usable. I might wish for a bit more in the 150-175 lumen range with a similar beam pattern if not making this a 123 battery size. Yes that battery would increase the size slightly. Mainly because I don't use CR2 batteries often and local stores inventory is minimal. Being able to swap power sources from other devices makes it easy. (Think of your bug out bag, what batteries are more common uses...123 right?) I like the weight with the composite body. As much as the TLR-1 series is great though for some shooters like my wife, the balance of that light takes some getting used to. This TLR-3 doesn't make the pistol seem as muzzle heavy so she finds the balance quite good. Her hands are smaller than mine so a support hand thumb actuation is more challenging. Wants: I wish that the keys might allow it to sit back 1/8" more towards the trigger guard. Position isn't far off though for my smallish hand size swiping it with the support hand thumb requires a slight hand position shift. I can still shoot the pistol in comfortable form though my preference would be just a bit more set-back. Overall pleased.

This is a great light. Lumen output might be low but the Candela output is great which is much better than some lights with higher lumen output that I use. My gripe is the activation of the HIGH mode. It takes around 3 seconds or so to go to HIGH from Low. UPDATE: Fell off the side of the bed and the "latch" that holds the flashlight head broke. NOT a "High-impact super-tough polymer body offers exceptional durability" as advertised.

Good for searching. Zero blinding power. Fits wonderful.

This light is perfectly in line with my other Streamlight products. - Solid construction, easy to use. - I love the rechargeable 18650 battery it comes with. - I was able to install it on the rail very easily. - The unit comes with two battery/tail caps...one runs the tape switch that can be installed for easier use when the light is mounted. Packaging could be better. Mine arrived scratched/marred...but this creates no functional issues with the light.

I highly recommend this Mount. I’ve tried other stupid gimmicks that clamp on the barrel and what not and they are always a problem. This Mount though is a game changer! I’ve mounted it to one of my shotguns with a streamlight HLX pro 1000 and it has held perfectly even after firing lots of heavy slugs and buckshot. It’s a very sturdy Mount too that doesn’t move around or bend easily. This is the best light Mount for a shotgun I’ve ever come across.

First impressions were looks or FORM after i ripped that stupid laser warning sticker off the bottom ..yes its there for company liability but its ridiculous.....that off my chest .. FUNCTION: the one gripe i have is the oscillating switch that engages on /off is flimsy on the flat end where it bolts in the center and could get lucky snagging or breaking exiting a heavy retention holster ...so i filed it down 1/16th on the sides ..it did not disappoint as it held on my FNX 45 tactical out of the box and my Glock 19 to boot as the solid construction of this light will outlast any polymer system out there and after a couple hundred rounds the recoil didn't phase accuracy, the laser is bright and visible in all out door situations and the light has a significant brightness to clear dark places but if your trying to spot something past 75 yards in the dark ...meh ...but its a exceptional beam for a pistol application.....the strobe is a nice feature ..a little hard to master under stress or target engagement when pressing switch twice .. in conclusion, you can buy two of these lights for the price of one surefire ...its tough...laser holds zero on target....delivers a blinding beam of awesome ....its made from solid construction ...im buying more
