This is a nice light⊠normally i don't like the small lights like this because i feel it would look weird but I have a đ« that will need it and this will fit great on it, feels like high qualityâŠ. One thing i will note is that if you are confused about where the battery goes you have to take the front part off to put the battery in since there is no âdoorâ on the back to open it.. so far its great for durability, price, and it comes with the tools to easily install it. 10/10
First off, I would like to say that I have no issue with Streamlight and I had the TLR-7 sub before ordering this and it was fantastic. Great flashlight option. The issue I had here is purely related either to mishandling on new/used merchandise via streamlightoutlet.com or with Kenzies Optics, who is the seller using streamlightoutlet.com for logistics. I ordered this sight (TLR-8 G Sub) NEW from here and it arrived as seen in the video and images above⊠Now.. I CAN understand a retailer inspecting and placing a quality seal on an item. Yet this one arrived with the seal already broken and taped over with simple packing tape.. shame. Of course, I gave it an inspection quite skeptical off the bat. For you all interested in this product. I was able to get the laser and light to work just fine and itâs amazing. The laser is incredibly visible and the light illuminates a hallway very very well. It doesnât spotlight as much as the dedicated flashlight versions but it is just as good as your average at home flashlight and gets the job done. As for the damage from my experience personally. The light/laser arrived with the c clamp missing from the 1913 rail mount clamp so it was unusable for mounting to a firearm. It also arrived with the elevation set screw missing, which shows this poor light was obviously abused by its previous owner. To sum up. If youâre ordering via Kenzie's Optics. Be forewarned that you may be receiving re-sealed merchandise sold as ânewâ. I recommend honestly if you have to buy through streamlightoutlet.com and they donât have the railmount type you need, that you just buy the light/laser from streamlightoutlet.com as seller with whatever railmount type is available and contact streamlight personally about sending you the correct railmount kit for your firearm, as I have been told they are willing to send these for free to verifiable owners. This thing is sick..although i may sell it. Heres why: The whole point of me getting a sw shield 9 was for its compact size and easy ability to carry. The gun is super light and thin which is perfect for wearing skinny jeans and tight ass t-shirts. So why add wieght and bulk to the gun? And not to mention the holster needed for the light are huge and bulky as well. It made drawing the gun a pain because the light would snag and created a larger profile of the gun under clothes. Lastly the gun is meant for edc and not tactical use. Im not kicking in doors, screaming "search warrant" with this gun. If i pull it out, i need it to be quick, smooth, and inconspicuous to the bad guy. So thats why i took it off.. on the other hand. It is great and is super cool. Doesnt add much wieght, but it is noticeable. The light doesnt protude from the barrel but does extend the trigger guard to the tip of the barrel. This creates almost a square profile under clothes. No more pocket carry. Laser is on point, flashlight could be brighter but is decent and the buttons are soft and easy to press on and off, not like the crimson trace buttons. Would be great if the light has lithium batteries than could be recharged.
Note the latest version of this product has been updated to 140 lumens. I was looking for something I could wrap around my neck for hands-free walking at night. I originally looked for something similar to the old Black & Decker snake-light (from the nineties). Found out Black & Decker has updated the original to an LED version, but it only puts out 45 lumens (rather low by today's LED standards). Thus we have this Streamlight which outputs 140 lumens. I've now used this for several days. It's lighter in weight then it may look, very comfortable around the neck. When it's hanging around your neck, you can twist the end to any angle you like (to place the beam anywhere in front of you) - making it the perfect hands-free walking light. Lay it on a flat surface, and you can point the head in any direction you want. The beam pattern is very wide & evenly spread - no dark/bright spots in the middle like a traditional flashlight.
The only thing is the battery is only 4 hrs long
It worked great until I went to the range. 300-400 rounds later a chip fell off the ciruit board. Unfortunately I already ordered a made to order holster for that light.
This is on top of my list. Itâs one of my favorite flashlights. The size is perfect. The brightness is beyond my expectation. Small enough to maneuver in the tight places, hands down one of my favorite flashlights there is quality is unmatched. Iâve used this flashlight for over 20 minutes and it never even got hot in my hand. One of the other conditions with this flashlight is that Iâve hardly ever had to recharge the battery as it last for a very long time.
Fantastic light for professional mechanics and diy'ers, and also excellent for scorpion hunting! I use them in a shop primarily but decided to take them camping when my friends and I went, oh boy are there a lot of scorpions in Nevada! In summary if you're looking for a great light for the shop or for camping, look no further. Also I cannot remember the last time I charged it but oh boy the battery life is awesome!

I keep flashlights in the kitchen, the primary bedroom, and our cars. This flashlight was in a kitchen drawer and I guess the constant pressure of the three C batteries caused the top of the screw on part to fracture over time. I tried superglue with rubber bands to hold it while it dried but when I removed the rubber bands, the top separated within hours. Poor design. I replaced it with a brighter LED flashlight since this one was not very bright. Disappointed in the (lack of) longevity for this pricey flashlight.
Laser wonât adjust, no matter what, pile of trash. Off by a foot at 3 feet is the best I can do

Fixed my old streamlight stylus pro by ordering this. The flashlight just decided to quit working one day so I ordered a brand new one. Took the switch off of it and tried it out on my old one.. Fixed the problem so I ordered a new switch. Hopefully I can get another 6 years or so of everyday use out of it!
