  • Gadget guy here, i've carried a lot of EDC lights through the years. Surefires, Olights, Nitecores, Streamlights, the list goes on. I switched over to this light coming from a Surefire Stiletto and it's inferior in almost everyway besides the type C port; Grip, activation button/mechanism, clip orientation. It's all around a lesser product. Worse yet, the fail point on this item isn't the "Unprotected" type C port as many anticipated. I knew that likely wouldn't be a problem, we walk around with an unprotected C port on our phones all day. They've had IP68 rating pretty much since conception. The button mechanism has no gasket or seal to it, as it would probably cause issues with its functionality. This grants water/crud an access point to an otherwise perfectly sealed battery and board. In summary, It's a cute little quirky gimmicky light, as Streamlight has been known to do. I have their little keychain light that I still use from time to time. This is just a bigger version of that in terms of quality. The feel in your hand is "ok" and it's nice that it has a metal body. The activation switch is a little lame, honestly. One of the worst i've used on an EDC light. I can't really say it's built to withstand the rigors of real and hard EDC use given the failure point. And of course, as soon as you pop the screws off to even investigate what the problem might be, your warranty is void. With its failure, i've replaced it with a Nitecore EDC that's a proper competitor to the Surefire Stilleto. But this isn't a review for either of those.

Very happy. Took two photos, top is no light, bottom is light from only the headlamp and no other light source. If it can light up total darkness to get all this detail, imagine what it can do for an already lit area.

  • Best flashlight I’ve found. I love that this product came with two charging ports and two different style cords (one for outlet and one for vehicle). It’s durable and long battery life. I also really love the dual switch feature, in a high stress or tactical situation the last thing you want to worry about is being restricted on getting your flashlight on. Powerful light, and not heavy. Well worth the money! Highly recommend for law enforcement / security.

  • I like this light because it’s really small and doesn’t get in the way like headband flashlights sometimes do. The big button is easy to use and the beam is bright and focused. Battery life is as advertised, about 5 hours on low. The pivot on the light is nice and stiff so it stays where I angle it. The biggest problem is that mounting bracket doesn’t lock in to the slot on my hard hat. There’s a small tab that kinda sticks out when inserted, but it isn’t enough to really secure it. While adjusting the angle on the light the bracket rocks, and I have been able to wiggle it out by rocking it back and forth. Overall though it’s definitely a good and very durable light, and I really doubt it will fall off without me messing with it. Just keep some spare batteries in your locker.

Amazingly bright for size. Definitely worth it. I bought this one to replace one that was stolen recently in a break in. Snap on Sella the same ones for over 150. By them here same quality. Way better price. Got mine in about 3 says with prime.

First time buyer. First time charged the batteries and one of them caught on fire after a full charge. Be careful. Do not charge unattended.

I love this thing. I used to use the Streamlight rubber band mount but in order to get the light to angle down where I'm walking, I had to pull up on the whole back end of the band and it just wasn't reliable. This thing is perfect because it can aim pretty much anywhere you want it to. I've also gotten multiple compliments on it. Highly recommend this product for anyone needing a light on their hard hat.

  • This is how it arrived. but all works fine.

  • So far I like everything about this light for my long gun. Fit perfectly on the rail as it came on the box. As far as battery life in concerned it’s being newly charged as I wrote this review so I can’t comment.

fit my stream light stinger snugly. It is a red filter, therefore you can expect some sort of dimming. but so far (unless im trying to light up my entire house with the filter on) I have had no issues with the setup.

This was the perfect upgrade for this light and my use for it, I'm impressed with the spotlight and I'm sure the leds will last

  • This is a great overall light. Small enough for EDC, bright enough for most everything. Easy to charge. Haven't had much time with it but really like it overall. Purchased during streamlightoutlet.com Prime date for Forty. The lights pictured from top to bottom (purchase date): Surefire Fury - 500 Lumen (November 2013) Streamlight 89000 ProTac 2.0 - 2000 Lumen (July 2024) Streamlight 66320 MacroStream - 500 Lumen (July 2024) Streamlight 66604 MicroStream - 250 Lumen (April 2023) If I were choosing a light between the 3 Streamlight options. MicroStream for EDC, MacroStream for Hiking / Camping, ProTac 2.0 for Home/Property Use (I have acreage, too bright for inside unless for home defense purposes). If I were to start with just one, it would be the MacroLight.

  • Well, I bought my light in 2015 when I was still working as a mechanic in a shop and had gone through many cheap lights and wanted rechargeable to save on batteries. I started with a streamlight stylus USB which worked great but I wanted something brighter so I got this and have loved it ever since. The stylus is great for holding in your mouth or clipping to a cap but this 1,000 lumens light is great for many applications including security work I do now and being outdoors. I've had to replace the battery end cap with switch due to it going through a flood and sitting in 3' deep water for 2 days while the town of Kalama Washington flooded for the 2nd year in a row while I was working there. $10 plus shipping was a small price to replace the button from the manufacturer and a replacement battery was purchased from them after that when my original stopped taking a charge after 4 years of daily professional use under cars.

  • Streamlight knows exactly what they're doing. I've got the TRL 8 on my G23 and now the Tracker on my Mossberg 500 SPX. I installed myself with the help of a 6 min YouTube video. The Tracker is a solid, heavy duty, hard piece of composite material. Built like a brick, just not heavy like a brick, which is great. At 850 lumins it's insanely bright. When running drills and the Tracker is pointed at me, I'm being told that I ALWAYS look straight down and away no matter how many times we run the drill. Knowing the Tracker will be pointed directly at me at some point in the drill, I try to change my behavior to not look away and, apparently, I can't. This product is exactly what it says it is. Streamlight just hit another Grandslam. If you're in the market for a tactical light for your HD or CQB shotgun, the Tracker is it. Just buy it. End of story. See my pics as a backup to my review.
