I know Streamlight products tend to have a higher price range than your average flashlight but Streamlight products tend to have a higher quality than your average flashlight. š¦

Let me say this I'm a big fan of stream light products. This little sucker is a must have as edc also love the pouch it comes with. Love that it's a rechargeable just like all my other streams light. Highly recommend edc .

Some things to know about this headlamp: 1. It is designed for distance illumination, not closer work. The beam has a very tight focused hot spot designed for throw. This is not the type of beam that I desire for general use around the house, night walks, or camping. 2. It is not designed for use with Ni-MH rechargeable batteries. The documentation specifies Alkaline batteries. I installed fully charged high quality Ni-MH batteries and within only a few minutes the light was displaying the low battery indicator. The light does 'work' with Ni-MH batteries and the run time seems to be 'acceptable' in my brief testing. 3. It is only rated IP-X4 for water resistance. Which means splashing water from all directions. Not sure how well this will hold up in heavy rains. I prefer to see an IP-X6 rating or higher for flashlights and headlamps. 4. The output settings are not well 'spaced' for a headlamp. There is a noticeable difference between low and medium. There is not much noticeable difference between medium and high in real world use due to the way the human eye works. Output spacing of about 15/45/150 would be more useful for most usage. 5. Be careful when loading the battery holder back into the housing. There are color coded markings to align it. Do not push the battery holder into the housing, it won't work and it will be hard to remove. If gravity does not allow it to drop in, check the alignment. 6. The push button switch is large, easy to operate, and easy to switch the light through the High/medium/low/off modes. It always comes on in High mode. You must go through the other settings to turn it off. 7. The headband fits a large head comfortably. I will be returning the light due to the very narrow beam width and the fact that it is not designed for Ni-MH rechargeable batteries. I hope this extra information helps you make a good choice on a headlamp.

Everybody likes long-term reviews, right? So I bought this thing back in mid-2018, currently early 2022 as of writing. Part of my EDC, and I literally use it daily. I have dropped it off of houses. I have dropped it in the toilet. I have dropped it in the pool. I have used it in the driving rain. I have dropped it in mud. It has been in the lake and covered in fish guts. It has sat through heat, cold, wind, rain, and snow. The black finish started going almost immediately with regular pocket carry next to keys, which is why my once-black flashlight is now a nice patina of mottled silvery metal. My *one* complaint - and this is minor overall - the LEDs tend to flicker on and off and become vibration-sensitive in a way when the batteries get low. I don't know why it only ever happens with low batteries, but changing them always fixes it. I've also stretched the engcap spring a bit on occasion to make a tighter battery connection on the negative end and hold them in tighter. The electrical tape around the end cap is there because, well, if you know you know, and if you don't then it's because biting down on metal is at times rather uncomfortable. Overall, I've beat this light to hell and back for years and it's still going strong over three years in. Even now, with fresh batteries you can see the beam on the ground in broad daylight. I can reliably get good illumination at 200 ft with fresh batteries, and easily to 50-100ft with dying batteries. I'd say that's worth the $40.

The Streamlight TLR RM2 i purchased was so nice and beautiful for my toy.. twas so bright and i love the quality and features.. ā¤ļø The seller had it delivered so fast it came earlier than expected. Happy customer here.. š

Light is really bright and works well! However, if you plan on using it with a holster, make sure to just get a different light. Or be prepared to have troubles getting your firearm out of the holster. The rubber seal on the battery compartment came out slightly and has basically made it impossible to holster anything with this light on.

Itās maybe a little silly how excited I am about my new flashlight, but thereās something so pleasingly⦠sleek yet serious? about it that I canāt help myself. It works as reliably as any other streamlight Iāve owned and has a good, strong beam and good battery life, but there are some small differences that really make this a stand out for me, particularly the shape and the on/off/intensity dial. I LOVE the on/off mechanism. The button on the end of the round ones was fine, though it always eventually wore out, but this is so convenient and natural to use, and it wonāt wear out and need replaced. Itās in the perfect position to let my thumb rest there if Iām loosely holding it at my side or have my hand on it in my pocket, and I donāt have to change my grip to turn it on to either the regular setting or the temporary high output one. Easy to hold, easy to use, just all around great. So great, in fact, that itās made me feel safer going for walks at night. I actually got it because one of my favorite things on my nightly walks is looking for the neighborhood skunks, and while they seem to be either stupid or confident enough not to care about me shining light to see them better, my phone was never bright enough. This is the perfect skunk lightāand you can quote me on thatābut the convenience of the dial is such that if anyone tried to cause me trouble, I could have 1000 lumens shining in their eyes before they realized I was holding anything. I also just casually push the dial when a car is coming so it makes a nice bright spot on the road and catches their attention if they havenāt seen me yet. Iāve had the usual round streamlight flash/penlights before without issue, but I find this shape more elegant and visually appealing, and the novelty of it makes it feel a little special. It seems like they advertise it as being better for carrying in your pocket, which may well be true, but the pockets Iām carrying it in are neither fancy nor tight enough for it to make a significant difference, though I do think it feels a little more secure. I really do just find this shape so attractive; itās like in ye olde days, when new iPhone models actually felt different and exciting, and everyone wanted the new one right away. Anyway, this flashlight is great because itās a great flashlight, and also because it makes me happy and fills the hole in my heart with light ~ā”~

Had it for a couple of months (automotive technician) everything was fine. Battery would last all day. Light is not to heavy, pretty comfortable to wear. The pivot broke out of nowhere. Seems like the real weak point.

Every home needs A Stinger! You may be thinking lumens is what you want but, it's candela power that counts. This is a perfect size for a general purpose household flashlight. Whether its a bump in the night or a lost dog, the Stinger floods a wide area with a very warm bright light. It will also reach out to extreme distance.

Received in two days thanks to Prime Membership. The weapon light is very nice I have a pretty solid background involving weapons and accessories and also other stream light products. The weapon light feels very lightweight and very durable. It has a nice black smooth finish from the factory. The 625 lumens is very blinding as well it is a very crisp white light with a solid center beam for a lot of throw if you need it to see targets clearly out to I would say 60-70 yards I would say as an estimate without measuring... Also has a nice peripheral glow to illuminate areas around your focus. I have not extensively used this light yet but I don't foresee an issue. It can be programmed for a few modes like strobe and low/high intensity. It also comes with two tail caps a click on/off or just hold for momentary and a flat pressure switch with the same functions. The mount is also very nice and is part of the gram of the light it has a knurled knob kind of like a traditional AR 15 removable carry handle. It Feels very solid and have no worries when it comes to live fire. Anyway I would buy it if your in the market for a quality inexpensive weapon light you can always return it or send it to stream light it's pretty much worry free. Enjoy and remember target discretion.

I read a lot of reviews giving this negative remarks because they thought it had a IR laser which it does not. It a IR illuminator which is a IR flashlight. Before I bought this I was using a Surefire M952V which is white light and IR light. I considered that to be the best white/IR light made. I then bought the streamlight and my mind was quickly changed. The streamlight white light is far brighter and larger then the Surefire and the IR light is also much brighter and better then the Surefire. I was a Surefire supporter big time but now all my ARs and pistols have the streamlight TLR VIR. One possible issue is with mounting it on some pistol rails. It doesn't fit my Sig Pro so the locking bar locks into the pistols rail but it can still be mounted and tightened with the lights knob. If you dont need the Tapeswitch on your pistol ask streamlight to send you just a regular TLR back plate with no switch plug and then it will lock in perfectly on a pistols rail.

Remove the six bottom screws and takeoff the bottom, remove and disconnect the battery, slide out the circuitboard, gently pinch and pull off the little rubber boot on the outside of the switch, unscrew the white plastic ring and the switch comes right out, thereās no need to solder, cut the wires leaving plenty at the circuit board side, stripped the wires connect the new switch add a little tape or wire nut push the new switch up through the whole screw on the plastic ring pop on the rubber boot put everything back together and youāre done 10 minute job

Quick and simple to attach and it seems very sturdy. It can't slip under recoil like the rail attachments that clamp to the barrel or mag tube. This is a great alternative if you don't want to clamp to your barrel and don't have a mag tube extension. Flashlight beam is accurately aimed.

The one star is not for the Streamlight product. Streamlight makes great stuff. The one star is for the fact that streamlightoutlet.com delivered me a package that someone had cut open, removed half the hardware, and taped it shut with scotch tape. Luckily I was able to use some of the parts off the jaw clamp I was removing to make the new one functional. Long story short, Streamlight makes great stuff but be careful ordering it from local streamlightoutlet.com facilities.

Waste of money!! It's missing the charging plate connection on the inside.
