I use this flash light for Property inspections

As title states, works for my trusty Streamlight. This is an official Streamlight battery, I don't trust the aftermarket ones. Be sure to charge fully before use. A battery generally lasts me about a year or so, I use it A LOT. Little pricey but gives me piece of mind.

I wanted to post a review because I was getting conflicting information about what kind of batteries this flashlight can take. A normal brandless 18650 with a button top will fit and power this flashlight (see photos). But there appears to be variation in diameter between batteries. Your mileage may vary. I saw similar reviews about rechargeable Li-ion batteries not fitting on the SL-B26 product page. So my thinking is that the Streamlight USB rechargeable 18650 does not fit some of their products (the Polytac 90X for instance). It's like 0.5mm oversize. I don't have one in hand to personally confirm this.

Great quality

365 days, dozens of batteries and 1 finish later its still my main edc. I've used and abused this thing for just over a full year. Carried it basically every day. Highly recommend this little guy if you want something bright, durable, versatile and budjet friendly. Also not a lot of people talking about this being "tri-fuel" it accepts aa, cr123a as well as aaa. Ive tested this

Extremely disappointed by Streamlight AND streamlightoutlet.com. Received the light in time, everything seemed fine until I plugged the light for the first time. The light would turn off and flicker by itself while charging and in OFF position. Very concerning. I sent it back to streamlightoutlet.com who send me a new one the following day.. only to discover streamlightoutlet.com sent me a used one! Broken boxe, missing parts, dog hair inside the boxe, mark of use in the body of the light and the M-Lok plate. Sent it back. I have to go drop it off two times because of a lemon and because streamlightoutlet.com didn’t care about sending me a used one. Overall a bad experience from the manufacturer and streamlightoutlet.com

The Streamlight TLR-1 HL 1000-Lumen in FDE Brown is an outstanding weapon light. It’s extremely bright, reliable, durable, and fits perfectly on my setup! The FDE Brown color looks awesome and matches my 19X perfectly! For the performance and quality, it’s a great value and a solid light for any EDC or defensive setup. The strobe effect is a very strong and also a nice addition!

My Streamlight lasted about 6 years with almost daily use before the switch started giving me issues. Other than the finish on the light being a bit beat up it works fine. I found this replacement switch and decided to give it a shot. I have had it for about a year now and it's working great, and the finish is starting to match the light lol. Now I just need a new lens.

This is the $44.00 aviation light,at 65 I don't think I'll be going back into the military,so I didn't need all the bells and whistles with the military version.this little light is plenty bright for working on cars or at your camp

Spare battery for streamlight usb light

Amazing little and very powerful light BUT has a misleading length of use time. The light will stay at its absolute brightest for 30min. On the spec sheet the company states 1.5hrs of use time. What they fail to mention is that after 30 minutes the brightness will significantly start to drop off to a point where at the 40-50 minute mark it's at its last practical brightness and needs new batteries. I've went through 2 sets of batteries now due to training with the light but now that I'm comfortable and confident with the light I ni longer should need to turn the light on except for emergency type situations. If you can get over that negative aspect then you'll love the light. ALSO - Quick tip for protection of the lens. It may sound silly but before you even fire a shot while this light is mounted, be sure to apply a decent coat of lip balm to the lens. Make sure to get it over the entire circumference of the glass lens or else you're going to have a VERY rough time getting the carbon from gun fire off of the lense. With the lip balm all it takes is a super quick wipe from a microfiber and it will look just as new as the day you received it. I ended up purchasing a little rubber cap here on streamlightoutlet.com to protect the lens when using the gun at the range. ALSO - LAST TIP - If you didn't get the chance to apply the lip balm before getting your lense dirty then DO NOT use any cleaners that can seep into the light from the lens. All you need is a pencil eraser. Work the eraser in a circular motion while applying light pressure. This will take care of any carbon that's caked to the lens and won't scratch the lens. Then either purchase yourself a cap for range use or do the lip balm technique. Hope this helps!

Let me start by saying—I don’t typically write product reviews. But I felt compelled to share my experience with this light. While I won’t go into technical details like lumens or candela, I can confidently speak to the durability of this light. I’m a deputy in California, where we experience all four seasons. I purchased this light for everyday carry and ended up losing it during a search and rescue mission in the snow. I marked the coordinates where I dropped it, hoping I might recover it later. Fast forward two months—I returned to the location and found the light exactly where I’d lost it. Despite needing a serious cleaning, it worked perfectly. That kind of resilience is rare. This light is clearly built for professionals, and I genuinely appreciate that. I’ll be a lifelong customer!

I bought this back when I was a firefighter. It's been through some stuff lol. The last time I fully charged this light was in December of 2021. Here we are in May of 2025 and it still has charge (though it's starting to finally dim). I know it's not being used nearly as much, but for the battery to last that long is amazing.

Out of the box and on the rail in under 2 min. Comes with several attachment points for your desired mounted options. Battery for the light is easy to install. Laser battery is pre-installed, may be an issue later down the road when it needs to be replaced. Light is bright enough to defeat or disorient a threat and laser alone is bright and could be used to temporarily blind a target as well. One piece construction is solid. Rocker switch for constant on or momentary on is simple to operate. 3 modes, Laser, Laser + Light & Light. Upgrade over previous models all modes feature the strobe function. Not sure why I need the laser to strobe but it adds to the "O S*** it just got real" factor for the unlucky intruder. Out of the box mine seemed to be sighted in around 30yds. Adjustments are easy and I've since adjusted that out to 50 yds. Yes the green laser is just as bright in the day time as it is at night. Unlike the red lasers under hazy conditions you can see a thin pencil trail from the laser through the air to the target. Once again not needed but it adds intensity to the situation. CONS: Laser is not center underneath or with the unit like the TLR-2. Instead the laser is housed within the light and offset to the left hand side. Aesthetically it looks cleaner but you get a ghost spot above the laser when it's on due to the reflection of the light's casing. Not a deal breaker but annoying if you happen to use it in CQB style training with a Reflex sight. I'll attempted to post pics and a video in the next few weeks.
