This is a really nice penlight. I volunteer as an usher at theater companies throughout Chicago, and sometimes when trying to read a ticket or find a seat, the house lights are simply too low. When ushering a concert a few months ago, a light was crucial because patrons are more likely to come late, enter and exit throughout the concert than at a play. I borrowed a light from the house manager and this is what he gave me. I took note of it and bought one a few weeks later. First thing I want to note is that the color of the light I got was different from the color in the photo, which was really disappointing, to be honest. I specifically wanted this lighter blue color; instead what showed up as more of a cobalt blue. It's about 1 3/4" in diameter and 5 1/4" long. The top end is where you turn it on by pressing with your thumb. It took a little more pressure than I expected to turn it on, but I think it's by design and is a good thing as it isn't likely to turn on automatically. Clicking it on will keep it on indefinitely until you click the button again. Alternatively, if you only need the light briefly (in my case, if I need to see someone's seat assignment), you can just depress the button slightly, keeping your finger on the button to keep it on. That's top is also where the clip is. The clip is pretty strong and probably not likely to come off too easily. I clipped it to both a t-shirt and a sweater and it felt secure. Screw off the top and you'll see the battery compartment, where you can slip in a couple AAA batteries for power. That's one thing I really like about this product--it doesn't take five button batteries. That's going to make it easier for me to remember what to get when the battery dies. Between the top and the body of the light, there's a little rubber ring that acts almost like a washer. It has a tendency to slip up and get caught in the threads, so make sure that it's in the right place before you start screwing the top on. The light is a strong, clear bright white light. It floods a good area when you pull the light back. I'm considering purchasing a second one to keep around instead of purchasing a flashlight. With the exception of my disappointment in the color, this is a very good product and should serve you well.

Item received was not as pictured... was really wanting the pictured item as it is a older model. The new model is larger and not as bright it also has more rubber trim. Which does not work well with my work conditions..

I was super excited to take this to the range, that didn’t last long. First shot the battery door went flying off and my batteries fell onto the range. I can believe this. This is my edc and I see now not to trust this brand.

I got it to use on a pen that didn't have a clip. I need to clip my pens on my lanyard. This was perfect

I purchased the larger version of this light and liked it a lot, but found it wasn't well suited to casual EDC / pocket carry due to its length. Tried this version and while I miss the rotary switch, this one actually fits in my pocket and the longer battery life gives me some peace of mind during camping trips etc. I set it so the light is 'low' when first turned on which is bright enough for 90% of my needs, really like having that option instead of having to click through different modes to get to the one I want. Only complaint is I wish the USB C port had some kind of cover, afraid I'll get a bunch of sand in there or accidentally smear it with grease while working under cars etc. The Flytanium Universal pocket clip fits these lights, highly recommended as the longer clip made getting the short light into my pocket a two handed task on occasion. Spyderco Delica 4 for size reference: length is comparable but the light is about 1.5 Delicas thick - enough that you notice it, but not so much it is a problem.

I'm always skeptical about positive reviews on streamlightoutlet.com because so many of them are clearly paid Chinese reviews. They're easy to spot though. However, this tactical accessory is top notch. The light is extremely bright and lit up over an acre of field very clearly. The laser was visible to about 25 yards at high noon on blades of grass. At night, it was several hundred yards. It attached easier than I could have ever hoped on my Glock 17 Gen 4. One pinch and a hand tighten. Also note, operation using the trigger finger is as good as it gets for a combat/self defense situation. Great product, I will be purchasing this one again, no question about it.

I really like this flashlight except for one thing: the plastic it's made from is not durable. and prone to cracks. All the good things that people have said about this flashlight in reviews are true: * The flashlight is is very bright and the light is spread about the right amount for it not being a focusing flashlight. * The batteries last a LONG time. * The clip is strong and makes it convenient to attach to a small branch, the inside of a tent, etc. A very useful feature. The problem is the plastic that was used to make the flashlight is not at all durable and is literally falling apart. In the picture, you can notice numerous cracks in the plastic and I have wrapped one end of the flashlight with nylon thread and put some epoxy on it to try and reinforce the body. You can also notice cracks at the other end of the flashlight. I may just end up wrapping the whole flashlight body with the nylon thread and covering it in epoxy. This flashlight has not at all been abused, and though I've had it for four years, it's only been used a total of maybe a dozen times; in fact I've only changed the batteries once. If Streamlight would use a more durable plastic, or maybe even aluminum for the flashlight body, I would give it five stars, as I really like the little light. But as it is, I can't see recommending spending more than twenty dollars on a flashlight that falls apart so quickly and easily.

This is a good flashlight 🔦 that I use at work on night shift. It does not come with charger or anything else. It feels very durable and the grip of it is good. If you're looking for longer beam i would go with the different flashlight. This does what I need it to.

Gracias excelente llego justo a tiempo

One picture is this item the rail mount part 14057, the other picture is the Stream light video showing him attaching it to an ARC rail helmet. Which you will not be able to do with this adapter unless you separately purchased a picatinny ARC rail mount. Disappointed they just don't make this item, so it attaches directly to the ARC helmet and charge a little more but include everything you need. Just FYI this adapter sitting on the picatinny rail makes the Stream light sidewinder compact 2 stick out further away from the helmet then I would like.

I ordered the model 69602 TL-Racker for my Mossberg 590 Shockwave. Upon assembly, the fit was horrible. I contacted Streamlight customer service and they informed me that Mossberg made two different action slides for the 590 Shockwave; The TL-Racker model 69602 fits the 6-3/4" action, the TL-Racker model 69600 fits the 7-3/4" action. Unfortunately, the 69600 model does not come with a strap. Check the measurement on your shotgun per the attached file to be sure you get the correct TL-Racker model. I will be returning this model and ordering the correct one.

bright, well made, i should of bought this first instead of the other cheapys

I ordered this light, and it arrived quick enough. Problem is it would not work. I used 3 different sets of recommended batteries and even performed the reset... dead. Returning for a replacement of same model with fingers crossed that I received a dud. Update: I received a replacement and it is functioning properly so far. So I am adding 3 stars from the 1 star rating prior, since it was remedied.

Does not fit the stinger hd like the ad says. Other than that it's a good item. Not worth the time to send it back once it has been opened. Does not fit my stinger ds led or stinger strion. I don't think the ad said it would but not sure what this one would fit.

Fired right in my firefighter light just right.
