Honestly I don't know why any other headlamps exist, because I've tried many of them and they just end up in the trash. Just buy this one, and tighten up hand!

Good small light if you need a small 1x AAA light. I prefer the 2x AAA Streamlight better but that’s only because it gives you more real estate to grab and has what I consider to be a perfect output for a small pocket light. Pros: • Compact light that is as wide as your palm. • Has a good stiff pocket clip that is removable and is folded over that will not damage material easily. • Good output for small tasks. Cons: • All the threads are a little rough. I brushed them all with a hard plastic bristled brush and then Coated them all with a small amount of grease. Make sure you use a grease that does not deteriorate rubber orings. • Tail cap is difficult to press/ click to make it stay on. You have to really work at it to make the switch click for constant on. The rubber cap needs to be inset further or the plastic clicky button needs to be longer. I cut a super thin pc of a pencil eraser and inserted it into the rubber cap hole. A pencil eraser is the perfect width. See pics I included to show difference in pocket clip design and tail cap modification. My multiple 2x AAA lights do not have the tail cap issue. Maybe my 1x light was just a tolerance stacking issue or the 2x lights are slightly different. I only deducted one star because most people with use the momentary on option over the constant on option for a small light like this.

This kit comes wrong! There ae two plates with the same design, supposed to be one different.

Light battery does hold charge but does not show fully charge. The flash light is amazing and extermaly bright.

Total control of light/laser pressure switch using standard foregrip thumb setup. Totally disagree with design complaints wanting a hard on/off pressure switch. Very easy to manually turn light/laser "hard on" behind light switch if needed. My setup also includes a night vision clip-on scope/IR light not shown. So light/laser gets mounted laterally. If laser mounted on bottom rail of rifle, natural concealed rifle resting positions are compromised.

Haven't used any polytac lights before, but was pleasantly surprised with this one. I use it on the shoulder harness for my tool belt and it comes in handy often. Great illumination amd great battery life. Have only had to charge it once or twice in the multiple months I've owned it

Quality Control Fail. Brand new, out of OEM packaging and its deformed - leaves a lot to be desired especially when considered a premium product suite or one used by military and law enforcement.

The Artic White LED is bright! The LED is focused in the center with no hard delineation as it fades gently to the perimeter of the beam. The aluminum case is nicely finished and the threads on the end engage perfectly as it seals with 2 "O" rings. The momentary push switch on the end cap has a solid feel and the "screw in to turn on" end cap is smooth and solid. The goose neck is stiff and holds it's shape nicely. After oral surgery I needed to precisely clean certain areas of my mouth and this works perfectly. Personally, a push-on-push-off end cap switch would be a little more convenient, but this works well and is probably more reliable.

Zero instructions, but not terrible to figure out. The clip will definitely need to be bent more to securely attach to a pocket.

I'M ONLY A CIVILAIN Admin work is a very important and often overlooked aspect of all the super tactical coolguy training shenanigans. Especially if you have the responsibility to look after people, you are part of a NPP (Neighborhood Protection Plan), you have a Bug out scenario, have to take notes, read maps and navigate, whatever it may be. Chances are being able to see that you are doing in low light without using white light is a huge deal. As anyone who is LE, Military or Contracting knows. Pros: This thing is built like a tank. It's heavy, sturdy and metal. You know you have this thing in your hand and you know its not going anywhere. The button is stiff so the chances of you NDing light is reduced. But watch you the putting just in case. It's bright, which is good and bad. Good because you can see what your doing. I've had it a few months and still haven't had to change the batteries, they take AAAA. Like with anything that takes batteries it's usually a good idea to carry spares on your person. Cons: It's momentary only, which is kind of a pain in the backside to be honest. So taking notes you may have to have someone hold the light for you, or you can put the pen in your mouth the try to press the button with your tongue. The button is still so my milage was very inconsistent. The light would flicker on and off. It's bright, the LED shines through the plastic, maybe wrapping some black electrical tape might cut down on that if it's a problem. (I'm currently out of E-tape so I couldn't test that). It's also a lot longer than I thought it would be, shocker that's a negative, I know. It sticks out of my admin pocket maybe an 8th of an inch. Overall: It will fit inside the admin pocket if I lay it down. But with earplugs, whistle, batteries, pen and sharpie and a notepad all fighting for space in the pocket, laying in down means I would have a hell of a time getting it back out. So I just zip the pocket closed and the zippers keep the pen upright. Opening the pouch it usually stays put unless it get tangled on something. But I honestly just pull it out if I need to grab loose items and put it back when I'm done digging around. Mise on Place, right? Please keep in mind your milage will very on battery life and durability. For the Operational dudes, using this thing off and on every night. You'll probably have to change your batteries sooner than I will. If it can me being a dumby and beating the crap out of it. It should hold up to a more stressful environment. Glad I bought it, and I think it's a good investment.

Advertised as the 750 lumen -- you get the 600. Nice light though.

very good quality,my mechanic has the same one and I liked it a lot,one drawback it has no low battery indicator outside the housing and battery looks cheap

Great little light. I carry this every day at my job as a dealership mechanic for inspecting and working on all the dark and hard to see parts of a car. Its tough enough for professional use. The light is very bright and at night you can see out very far with the beam. I like the color of the light as well. Its very white and while its not the most natural looking light it provides very good definition for seeing the fine details of what you are looking at. Battery life is great for how bright it is. I love the ten tap programming feature. I don't need a strobe or low power function and its great that i can set it to high only and not have to go cycling through strobe and low settings if i hit the switch too quickly. The switch took me a bit to get used to but mostly because its different than the light i bought it to replace. Its recessed into the aluminum frame slightly and after getting used to it i like how it protects the rubber cover that's over the switch from abrasions or tearing. I chose streamlight because i have a couple of weapon mounted lights made by them that have worked very well for me. This little light follows form. Highly recommended. 5/30/16 update. over a year in and it still works pretty much like new. Lens looks new. Switch still feels good. Still using it at work carrying it in my pocket 5 days a week. Its held up well, visibly worn but looks tough like it been doing its job well for a long time. it seems like it goes through batteries a little quicker than it did a year ago but still going strong, it did develop an audible and sometimes annoying battery rattle when carried in any pants pocket after about 4-5 months but I'm a mechanic and cars aren't hard to sneak up on so I'm still using it. Streamlight is worth the extra bucks.

Nice light. Very bright, I like that the beam pattern is pretty wide. Using it on my 5.56 SBR AK, mounted on a Zenitco B-9. Pretty happy with it so far.
