No complaints with this light based on first impressions. Haven’t been on a fire with it yet, however. Blue LED is pretty bright. Probably going to invest in some rechargeable batteries. I had a hard time figuring out how to rotate the mount. It was really tight for me. I used a vice and was able to twist it 90 degrees just using my hands. Hope this helps some people.

Love the two switch design. The ability to manually control the brightness is something I’ve always thought was lacking on the one tail switch Strions. I’m a little concerned about getting debris in the brightness control. It’s open and as a heavy duty wrecker operator, I’m going to expose this light to a lot of dirty, dusty, greasy, oily conditions. I use the Streamlight Strion Holster and had to modify the holster as the side switch was rubbing on the holster going in and out.

This item came in used and non functional, this light came in a perfect box but the product really seems to be used and doesn’t work ! Send in request for return and still waiting to get my money back to purchase probably direct from the website or a different brand.

This Light Paired With The Pyramex Baseball Style Bump Cap, Hi-Vis Lime/Orange , HP50031, If You Notice I Melted a Small Hole In The Bump Cap and Installed a Thumb Screw To Mount The Light But That Is Not Necessary (Red Wingnut) It Goes Thou The Inner Bump Cap Shell and The Nut Inside Is Recessed In The Rubber Cushion and The Light Can't Move Because The Light Has a Slot. The Bump Cap Shell Holds The Strap Great From Collapsing The Hat Unlike A regular Ball Cap. Awesome Light For Walking The Dog and Working On Cars Hands-Free! For $17 and It Comes With 3 Energizer Batteries Not Trash Leaking Junk! The Head Band Is Great and The Light Is Lite Weight and Bright without All the Flashing Functions! Not Only Would I Recommend the Product To Anyone But I will Be Getting A Few More At This Price! I Will Wait For The Price To Come Down On the Rechargeable USB Model But Had I Needed It For Hours A Day The USB would save on Batteries In The Long Term! The Rubber Non-Slip Strap For Hard Hats Was a Great Idea! Velcro Mounting Option Too! Great Product and Zero Negatives. It Has SPOT LIGHT, FLOOD LIGHT or SPOT FLOOD Light.

Perfectly reasonable and simple flashlight but I was surprised to learn its 155 hour runtime is, er, optimistic. The back of the package has a chart of how far the beam will project over time (picture below). At 155 hours of runtime the beam is all of 3 feet - ouch. Based on the chart the light is probably not very effective even at the 65 hour mark. Even the Streamlight website did not make this clear. It wasn't until the package arrived that I saw these details.

You're certainly not going to blind anyone with the relatively low-intensity of this flashlight, but as a combo unit (laser and light) at a decent price and able to be installed on a pocket 9mm, it's a nice package. I took one star off for the fact that it's not very bright and because it uses very unusual and hard-to-find batteries (easy to find on streamlightoutlet.com maybe, but not so easy to pick up at a 7-11, Walmart, or Walgreens/CVS). Because the Glock 43 9mm doesn't come with rails on the dust cover, they had to go with a clamp mount (you have to loosen three screws and then it clamps on to the trigger guard from opposite sides). This means the unit isn't coming on and off quickly (a good or a bad thing depending on how you look at it). A nice bonus of the shape of this unit-- consistent with the length and width of the dust cover and slide-- is that it helps breakup the print-through profile of the Glock 43 in your pocket. Looks less like a gun in your pocket and more like a deck of cards (or something else). One other thing to note: Because this is meant to be used in a hurry, you pre-select what you want the button to do. You can have it activate the light only, light and laser, or laser only. This way you only need to tap the button to light it up, and tap it again to turn it off. Overall, this is an excellent product, and they did a very good job designing it to be streamlined ("stream" theme, hehehe) to fit on the G43. Unfortunately, I could not use either of my "bellyband" or ThunderWear-style holsters with the G43 once this was mounted on the frame. Even my holster that fits a G19 wouldn't work with the G43 and Streamlight attached. I also could not find a suitable alternate Inside the Waistband (IWB) holster that it would fit in. Sadly, I'll be returning this unit. If in the future I can find a holster that will allow use of this, I may once again purchase it.

This came in original packaging which is nice. Package says “try me” like you should be able to use it in the package to test. Ordered two. Neither of them worked in package which means these are likely so old they died. Charged one fully and attempted to use and only the light would work on the brightest setting and only when you hold the power button down. But there is three modes that are supposed to stay on? So I watched another video on here and it looks like they had the power cord in the side to make the difference modes work. So I plugged it in and hit the power button while plugged in and red and nothing happened. Left the charging cable in the side of the key and again tried the power button and the modes worked with the cord in the side. Pulled cord out of the side and and now seems to be fictional as stated. We will se how long this lasts if out of the box it was dead and after first charge not working properly. I would expect more from stream light! The bad thing is I ordered one for a Christmas gift so I hope that one works who likes giving a malfunctioning gift? Other than these issues out of the box it is a nice little key light.

Use this flashlight everyday, works amazing, its a good size, and holds a charge very well. I was going to buy and Olight but i found this one and i have had other style streamlights in the past. Would definitely buy another

First off, this is an excellent little light that does it's job, HOWEVER it has some small design quirks that I believe drop it below stream lights average quality. I am the owner of a stinger 2020, a few AAA microstreams, and a couple coast lights that work as backups for any of my typical use cases, which include flying aircraft, doing maintenance on aircraft and cars, and camping/night fishing. I'm clearly a diehard streamlight fanboy, but this light falls short in three categories, the gooseneck, the pwm controller, and the charging cap seal. The gooseneck is a little stiff and resists being angled at 90 degrees or bent in an s curve past a half an inch or so of offset. Not a deal breaker but it limits the direction you can clip the light and some places you might want to put it. The gooseneck on my microphone boom for my aviation headset (lightspeed sierra) as you can see in my photo, clearly holds it's shape in sharper bends with a higher degree of certainty. I know the technology is out there to do this better and when I buy a light from a brand like streamlight I want to buy once and cry once for the absolute best execution of a concept. The pwm controller on this light is subpar, and on low brightness settings, particularly on the low output white light setting, this thing strobes pretty noticably. My stinger has a much more aggressive pwm reduction (2000 lumens to 400) and is a much higher, unnoticeable frequency. In my mind there is no reason why a smaller light can't have the higher pwm rate of streamlights flagship lights. The charging cap seal gives me doubt that it will truly survive immersion, but time will tell. It is also plastic, as is the body of the light. This isnt a deal breaker, as it's a good feeling plastic (nylon?) although it also doesn't appear to be glass fiber reinforced which would be a nice premium option to see on this light. Overall, time will tell whether this light will hang on for the relatively light use I will be subjecting it to in my flight bag. The red light tone is pleasant and very faintly orange to my eye, and the white light is plenty bright for seeing where you're stepping or reading a map/filling out paperwork. The clip has good retention, the USB charger integrated into the tail is a nice touch, and hell does it look cool and tactical. 7/10, awesome aesthetic, great concept, good execution, but I don't think it feels like a streamlight should, some components don't make it feel like a 50 dollar flashlight.

I ordered the product labeled to fit the standard M&P pistols. After installing the pressure switch is short leaving a noticeable gap between the button and the grip of my M&P 9mm... I am using the S&W rail key in the Streamlight TRL-1 and there is no other adjustments I can make. Button works to turn on the light but I dont like the gap. Any picture I've ever seen on-line of this set up there is no gap like this.

Holds a heavy FENIX HL60R headlamp, I have dropped my hard hat several times, it hasn’t moved

This light is great. I have the older model HLX pro and this one is just bigger in size but not noticeably heavier. I got this one specifically for my slug gun and it has held up just fine to heavy recoil use. Streamlight in my opinion is just as good as the more expensive Surefire brand. I’ve had several of both and the only differences between the two brands is the logo and the $$$. The only thing I don’t care for about this particular light is that to my surprise it came with a built in laser that I don’t remember seeing anywhere in the description. I don’t care for lasers much but I did sight the laser in at 20 yards for buckshotting at close range and the laser has held its zero just fine🤷🏻♂️ This light is 100% worth the money. You get what you pay for.

Great rechargeable battery! Awesome batteries by Streamlight!

The light itself works great, but mine came without batteries in the package and the pressure switch was broken straight out of the box.

After reading reviews about sanding the horn ends down to fit a Micro 9 this is what happened: I modified the ends and the unit fit and looked great (see photo 1 & 3). I made some rough adjustments to sight-in the laser and headed to the range. At the range I used the laser on my first shot. It landed about 3" to the left and slightly high. I was thinking how great that was with only a rough adjustment and took my second shot. To my surprise it landed about a foot or more off target. What happened? I found that the 9mm recoil caused the laser unit to drop at the front of the gun causing it to change positions (see photos 2 & 4). I do not have a plan to fit this issue......Also, be careful with the set screws they round out easily.... The good points of this unit are nice bright red laser and very bright flashlight. I have a Kimber Mirco 380 coming. If this laser fits and work well without issues I will upgrade my review, If not, I'll Down grade it to -0- stars.
